A member asked:

My ortho surgeon said my elbow broke "the way you want it to brake". removed splint, no cast, due to ability to roll wrist. is this correct?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Elbows are notorious for getting stiff after injury, so early movement is good if possible. From your description your fracture is minimally displaced (out of position). I would guess it was the radial neck or head. Follow the orthopaedist's instructions.
