Shot side effect: Shots in these small babies can cause fever and swelling for up to 7 days. It can be relieved with tylenol every 4 hrs and cool compresses as needed until gone. If it persists or gets worse, have baby seen in person with pedi md staff.

Usual: Your baby is having a normal reaction to the shots. Low grade fever can last 24-72 hours after the shots. Swelling at injection site also normal. You can continue the tylenol and warm compresses to the injection sites for relief.
