Olive vs canola: 52 F asks which is better for cooking: olive vs canola. Depends on what aspect of "cooking" you are talking about. I much prefer olive if salad and low temp cooking. But for waffles use canola unless u like.olive O taste. Deep frying canola has higher smoking point. So let's us known more about what you mean.
