Get it checked: The funny sensation may be due to nerve pain from a pinched nerve or it could be something more sinister. Cardiac pain usually doesn't present in this way however any pain or different sensation n your chest must be investigated thoroughly to rule out involvement of your heart. Please see your doctor for further evaluation including diagnostic tests to rule out anything worrying.

This is an unusual: symptom, but not unheard of. The most important thing is to make sure it is not the sensation of "ischemia" (lack of blood supply to the heart) which results in a heart attack. Typically ischemia causes pressure/pain. Probably the more usual cause of this sensation is blood vessel dilation, which causes a warm feeling, possibly associated with anxiety. Consider medical evaluation to clarify:)
