Try Scar Fade: It's otc but sold online or via phone. If it doesn't get what you desire seek out a (facial) plastics surgeon. There are other treatment options for tougher scars...(i don't have financial interest in scar fade btw).

It's made by...: ...Bard parker: the scalpel. That's the only option that "gets rid of(a phrase i wish patients would not use)" scar tissue. It is then hopefully, but not guaranteedly, promptly replaced with better-looking scar. Mederma, paper tape and silicone gel sheets can all improve the appearance.

None: There are no lotions to remove scar tissue. There are some creams such as Mederma and scarguard which have been proven to improve the appearance of scars.

Scars are permanent: Topical treatments usually help with that itchy feeling scars may have. Massaging a scar can sometimes get it to mature and soften faster. Topical silicone (sheets or gel) can improve the appearance of a scar but nothing gets rid of a scar.

Varies: Sun burns are bad so sun block is essential. Topical pressure and massage are mainstays of therapy to promote scar maturity. After this topical silicone gel sheeting is preferred but not always practical. Therefore silicone gels (creams/lotions) are substituted but not consistent. Some prefer kelocote. Mederma's active ingredient alium cepa (onion peel extract) is questionable in its value. Vit e?
