Yes it would help.: Resting would help relieve the cramping, but you mus get to the root cause of the cramping. For example: being tired and resting would help. But you need to know why you are tired. Do you have anemia? Are you malnourished (eating junk foods)? Are your hormones imbalanced. This reasoning applies to cramping also. Resting would help, but that is just a respite phrase not the solution.
