Dx mild type1 vonwillebrand. had a cold for past week &took ibuprofen until 2 days ago. past several days everytime i blow nose there is fresh red blood in mucus. not having "nosebleeds" where blood comes out spontaneously though. this ok or see doc?

Stop Ibuprofen: You already have a predelection to bleed easily, why increase the risk with Ibuprofen? The blood you are seeing is a good indicator of that. The ibuprofen effect on your platelets will decline over the next 5 days if you stop now.

Red nasal mucus: Sounds like you should be able to watch this, since not actually bleeding. Use nasal saline gel and/or mist to moisturize the nasal passages, which are dry and irritated from your cold. If bloody mucus persists or start having nose bleeds, need to see ENT doctor for evaluation. Your special circumstances warrant more caution than the average person without a bleeding disorder.
