Nose bleed: The blood you are seeing in your tears is probably just coming from your nose. The lacrimal sac, which is the sac that collects your tears, is down in your nose. If you had a bleed in the nose, some of that blood could get into that sac and up to your eye if you blew your nose, sneezed or coughed or had any kind of packing in your nose or significant congeston..
