Zoster or simplex?: Do you mean herpes zoster (shingles) or herpes simplex? Zoster is unlikely to be a problem. Operations on the face and eyes can trigger reactivation of HSV1 in people with oral or facial herpes, usually (but not only) in people with known oral herpes (cold sores, etc). But this can be prevented with anti-herpes treatment if necessary. Breast surgery no problem. Discuss with your plastic surgeon.
