Not advisable: If Metformin is causing that much symptoms to you, you might need to check with your doctor to consider changing it. Long term use of Immodium has its side effects on the colon and I would not advise you to do so

Metformin: Most people tolerate metformin better if taken after food , you can try that . Sometimes splitting the dose can also help but regular imodium woudnt be a good idea. Please discuss with your doctor
