A member asked:

Is it safe for a seven year old to take immodium for diarrhea as a side effect of tamiflu (oseltamivir)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not recommended: Medications to stop diarrhea in children is not approved or recommended due to the potential for significant side effects. Abounding dairy and offering stool binding foods such as bananas, rice, toast and applesauce is a safer course of action.
