Xylitol: Xylitol is a natural sugar and breaks up biofilm in the body. That's where germs multiply. It is found in a nasal spray called Xlear (pronounced "clear") and in chewing gum called Spry. There is a tooth paste version too. It is used to prevent the need for ear tubes. Please do whatever your doc says. Peace and good health.

L ear full and pain: It is possible the left tube is out or blocked. A blocked TM may be relieved by Ciprodex. If the tube is out you may have a build up of fluid and infection. Have it assessed. All the best. The tube is placed through the tympanic membrane.

See MD ASAP: Tympanostomy tubes temporary? Studies show temporary tubes fall out in their own some have flanges and are kept in for longer but the patency of the tubes are in question. You may have a serious infection no sugar spray is going to solve this problem you need an immediate in person exam preferably with ENT. Sounds like your Eustachian tube is blocked too. Steroids, antibiotics may likely be Rx.
