Can i wear a lumbar brace over a lidocaine patch?

Simple Answer Yes.: Many of my patients have found that wearing a brace or an ACE wrap over the lidocaine patches adhere the patch better. As a precaution, if you have any rash, or skin irritation remove the patch immediately. Remember the lidocaine patches are to be worn 12 hours and then taken off for 12 hours. Do not apply these patches on open skin areas.
