My son has had suicidal thoughts. we just found a knife & unopened pck of pills in his rm. he sees a counselor & is on antidepressants. what do we do?

Emergency Eval: He should be evaluated immediately to assess suicide risk. Call 911 or take him to nearest Emergency Department (preferably one affiliated with a hospital that has inpatient child/adolescent psychiatry unit, if available).
