There's no such thing as a perfect drug; if you hold out for one, you'll be disappointed. Something laypeople don't understand is that a drug that has no SIDE effects is unlikely to have any DESIRED effects either. Drugs are judged by 3 criteria: Efficacy, safety, & tolerability. There are always risks & benefits. Look at the numbers: The actual incidences of what worries you, and then decide.
