A member asked:

How common are ovarian cysts in women over 60?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very rare: Most women at age 60 are now post menopausal and not ovulating any longer which is the primary cause of functional ovarian cysts. An ovarian "cyst" at this age is a concern as malignancies are more common.
