Get tetanus shot...: Bleeding does not necessary means infection .But redness more pain, tenderness,pus drainage, .swelling... signs of infection.,But with injury as " rusty& dirty " metal always consider Tdap ( tetanus shot booster) if not done last in 5 years.... clean it well ( irrigation) keep if bleeds.. check with doctor.
