Nope: Ciprofloxacin has absolutely no effect against trichomonas, which must be treated with either metronidazole or tindazole. If you think you have trich, discuss with doctor; if diagnosis uncertain. you need testing for it. Other STDs often go along with trich, so be sure you're tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia as well. For sure no cipro, which could make STD diagnosis inaccurate. Good luck!

Metronidazole: The treatment for trichomonas is metronidazole. You may consult this site for more info on this topic: http://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/guide/trichomoniasis#1 For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
