Cymbalta/duloxetine: (a potent inhibitor of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake by nerve cells with little effect at cholinergic receptors) is approved for treatment of major depression and peripheral neuropathic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy. Speak with your prescriber if concerned about possible dementia. To reduce risk of developing dementia: healthy diet/weight, exercise, limit alcohol. Best regards.
