Yes alarming: Most complicated breast cysts are noted on ultrasound and are usually benign. However, an ultrasound lesion which is termed taller than wide raises some degree of concern. And sometimes it is difficult to distinguish a complicated cyst from a solid nodule. I would suggest having an evaluation by a breast care specialist and if needed consider an aspiration to verify the cystic nature of it.
