Orals surgeon: you will be referred to an oral surgeon who will remove the bone.

Broken Jaw: It is highly unlikely that you've broken your jaw and have a splintered piece extruding from your soft tissue, unless of course you've sustained severe facial trauma. It may be a broken tooth. In any event, an oral surgeon will either 1) remove the broken tooth or 2) remove the broken bone and fixate the broken bones to provide proper healing.
