Sle flare with a bad rash on my face. applying eumovate is not helping much. are there other creams that might be more effective? i take plaquenil too

Lupus rash: In patients with lupus, especially affecting the face, I recommend caution because some medications including low-dose topical steroids may lead to some thinning of the skin. I recommend being seen by a rheumatologist for possible systemic therapy. I'm happy to offer a consult if needed.
