13yo, pertussis for 3 weeks. did full ab treatment. twice woke up unable breathe. scary. using nebulizer. isn't this dangerous? what can / should do?

Mgt: After pertussis is diagnosed, it may take weeks to recover, and some patients may have longer term cough and respiratory symptoms. Please use the nebulizer as directed and see the ED for difficulty breathing. A virtual inbox consultation is available for non emergent management.
