Does doxycycline cure appendicitis? i am not sure i have that but i have every symptom including elev wbc my gyn put me on doxy because of the wbc

No: In Europe chlldren will be put on antibiotics for appendicitis. However, I am unaware of any literature that support the use doxycycline treating an appendicitis. Your doctor may be treating a pelvic infection, and that can have similar symptoms as an appendicitis.
