I took 2 aleve at 7:00 pm yesterday, 2 around 11ish pm, then 2 at 4:00 am. ihave a rx of naproxen i take for spinal stinosis (i'm out) is it too much?

Aleve/Naproxen: Naproxen should be taken two times a day. So yes, that is a little too much. I would stick with Tylenol for pain or try local measures.

Naproxen: Naproxen 500 mg by mouth twice a day should be the max dose add Tylenol for breakthrough pain but see your MD for a full exam and possibly more imaging please. You should get on cymbalta for your chronic pain do not take narcotics for breakthrough.
