Yes with limits: It is safe, and healthy, to exercise during pregnancy. However, if you are doing aerobic type exercises, some literature suggests that you limit your workout so that your heart rate does not exceed 140 beats per minute, and that you limit the duration of your workouts to 15 minutes when the heart rate does reach 140 beats per minute. You should not do abdominal exercises after you pass14 weeks.
