There is no such tes: Blood tests are not diagnostic of cancer. But we have other means to make a diagnosis of cancer. Most of these include a visit to your doctor for physical examination and X-rays and scans. these are called Cancer Screening tests. Ask your doctor for cancer screening tests appropriate for your Age.

Me and my husband want to go for a thorough checkup. We both lost a parent to cancer. Diabetes in both families. Cholestrol in mine. High blood pressure in both. Both overweight. What type of Doctor must we see to test and check everything.
I am due for my annual routine blood test at my primary doctor's office. Usually take 4 tubes or so. There are hundreds of types of cancer. Can my blood test results show cancer(s) strictly from blood work? Types most common identified?
