"Two" soon: It is too soon to do amniocentesis and would risk miscarriage and defeat the progesterone suppositories use to retain the pregnancy. If you still have concerns, talk to your OB MD about chorionic villus sampling later in the first trimester if there is a medical or genetic reason for determining the use of the procedure.
