Allergy / cellulitis: Difficult to comment without actually examining the lesion. This could be an allergy or an infection or even possibly an insect bite. Please see your doctor for an examination if it continues to worsen

Sounds like a bite: by a spider or an insect. Take a photo of it but then try not to bother or scratch it unless it itches or hurts or seems to be getting larger, in which case see a clinic.

I got bit by a dog with pants on in my thigh area yesterday, not quite sure if the dog is fully vaccinated but it didn't get in the skin, though there is purple and red bruising and it is getting quite heated up plus a bit of a bruising pain feeling.
