Migraines. : Truth be told, in the grand scheme of things, I'd rather you take a nap than resort to painkillers. But there are non-Narcotic medications (the triptans) that you might want to consider.

That's the Problem!: Maybe the " pain killers" are the problem. Most migraines are made worse by Opioids (pain Killers). My suggestion; see your primary care doc ,have him/her evaluate your migraines. If your primary doc is not comfortable with treating migraines then you need to be referred to a chronic pain doc. 1st if you smoke, quit, consume alcohol, stop, eliminate cheese from your diet & get a good nights sleep

Neuromuscular : I hope you have had a thorough neuromuscular and dental examination to rule out a temporomandibular joint dysfunction TMJD. There are similar symptoms but the treatment can be much easier and not chemical
