Do doctors ever consider the negative effects of constant media coverage of med issues like concussions? is the coverage sensational and damaging?

Media, not doctors: are likely to sensationalize health news. There are countless examples of news taking a small study and making it viral. The doctor authors are sometimes interviewed, but they are rarely dramatic about it. Concussion health is an evolving field, and it can have serious consequences so it's best to know about it and take precautions, not be overly alarmed.
