Node swelling: The lymph node swelling can be caused by various reasons. 1. Inflammatory - due to bacterial and viral infections. usually painful. 2. Physiological- some times, esp in kids, the Lymph nodes feel larger in size. 3. Cancer- Lymphomas or other cancers draining in to lymph nodes. usually hard, painless , may or may not be mobile. Presuricular swellin: This can often be related to an eye infection but can also represent a pre auricular infection that may need drainage. Have it checked. All the best.
