Maxillary sinus: Most retention cysts of the maxillary sinus spontaneously regressed or showed no significant change in size over the long term. In the absence of associated complications, "wait and see" may be the appropriate management strategy for these retention cysts. Patients with cysts of the maxillary sinus may present to the ophthalmologist with proptosis, enophthalmos, diplopia, ptosis, epiphora.

Possibly: Sounds as though you've had a study to evaluate this and so clearly the doctor who ordered the study should be answering your questions. Any of us would only be guessing on this small fragment of information. Good luck!
