Broad differential: you may have answered your own question but if this issue is progressing, there may be other causes of decreased fluency, some of which include endocrine imbalances (ex- hypothyroidism), vitamin deficiencies, auto-immune disease affecting the brain, brain tumor, primary progressive aphasia etc etc. Consider neurology consultation for a thorough evaluation of reversible causes with labs + imaging
