Need to look at: Has she been examined by any doctor at all in this time period? Have you ruled out strep, for instance? If she's having a hard time eating and drinking and it's been over a month she definitely needs to be looked at and swabbed...maybe even evaluated by an ENT physician, as soon as possible.
