Need more data: We can't base anything on a single blood sugar. I would recommend taking your meds as prescribed by your doctor and typically we would test a 3 month avg blood sugar (hgb A1c) at various times to determine what effect risperdal is having on your blood sugar. In the meantime, be sure to eat a heart healthy diet and avoid extra calories because risperdal can lead to weight gain, diabetes.
