There can be: dietary "allergies" to chemical components in wines that are not present in other alcohols. Tannins and Sulfites are common reactants. Many patients have GI symptoms or headaches or even hives. This is not "abnormal" it is normal for you. You could evaluate this more extensively by seeing an allergist or just avoid wine.
