Consider it: It would be wise to speak with your Primary care physician about getting a pap smear despite the lack of intercourse. Please keep in mind that any form of sex may put you at risk for HPV transmission. HPV is a virus that is the primary causal agent for cancer of the uterine cervix. Additionally, a pap smear may be able to pick up changes in the uterine cervix that may be due to smoking.
