15 days after an appendectomy, my 4 yr old son starts having intermittent abdominal pain around belly button w/ low grade fever. what to do?

Mgt: I would suggest monitoring his temperature and letting your PCP know about any fever, vomiting or worsening pain. It may be an infection related or unrelated to the surgery. If there is acute worsening, please see the ED right away. The scar should now be healed and dry.
