14 yr old son has been sleeping all day, w/low grade fever (99.5), hasn't eaten much the past few days and has a pinching pain @ his belly button.

Fever?: He doesn't have fever. A temp of 99.5 is quite normal partic if done in late afternoon. He has not been feeling well ; this warrants him being seen by your family physician and examined. List of all his symptoms and what has transpired and take it with you, but let him talk to the doctor himself, just in case there is something he would rather not share with his parents. May Be Appendix: Appendix problems start with pain at the belly button. I would advise calling or getting in to be seen at the family medical clinic or at least paging his doctor on call for advice for tonight.
