Fasciotimy: I responded to your question about exercise induced compartment syndrome and facial hernias due to increased compartmental pressures in athletes like soccer players.The lower leg anterior, lateral and posterior compartments are most often invoked.. When pressures exceed 15mmhg risk of injury to nuclear, nerve and arteries requires Fasciotomy. Mild EICS may respond to conservative measures.
