Lower leg and calf pain from 8 months , i doubt it could be compartment muscle syndrome, please tell me the symptoms and treatment for it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No compartment syndr: Compartment syndrome is a catastrophic event typically following a crush injury or an ischemic event, in which the pressure inside the fascial compartment rises higher than capillary perfusion pressure, effectively cutting off the blood flow to nerves & muscle cells within the compartment. It usually requires emergency surgery (fasciotomy) to save the limb.
