My current mri shows a pinced nerve on l3 and l4. could this be causing me upper thigh pain, lower back pain, as well as tingling in both feet and toes. what treatment options should i consider. do pinch nerves heal and how long will it take?

Yes, changes as we age (or with injury), of the lower back (including disc protrusions), can "pinch" the nerve roots resulting in these symptoms. We call this "Sciatica". Talk to your doctor on approaches to treating. Symptoms often come and go, but can linger longer. Conservative tx, rest, ice/heat and physical therapy are often tried first. Injections or surgery may be tried later if needed.
