My abductor pollicis brevis muscle on both hands has been hurting for almost a year and on outside of palm it is a blue color. what could be wrong?

?overuse: This may be chronic sprain due to overuse in occupation,sports,house chores,etc. Bluish tint suggests prominent veins but since there is no associated swelling, blockage is not likely. If you can't relate these symptoms to recent activities putting pressure on your hands, consult your physician or a rheumatologist if discomfort persists.
