IBS-D: These symptoms are compatible with your IBS-D and flareups occur at times with no rhyme or reason. They may also occur with stress,rushing around,after eating certain foods,etc. Your gastroenterologist is best qualified to advise and treat you and may prescribe some of the newer medications now used in IBS.

IBS-D: Checked for H. pylori a bacteria related to gastritis, that may be complicating . Also check for food intolerances, and consider eating active culture yogurt or 1 probiotic a day. Domperidone causes increased GI motility which can cause diarrhea and mebeverine can also cause diarrhea. So it may be also interaction of drugs with no food to act on as well. f/u/ w/ GI ,
