A member asked:

Nausea and diarrhoea coincides with monthly cycle. some numbness in face and hands. i have low b12 and folate (folic acid). dr just diagnoses ibs. any idea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: The hormone shifts at the time of menstruation often give women some temporary bloating, diarrhea and cramping pain. It can be treated as ibs, some women use spironolactone or birth control pills to reduce symptoms. Ginger or chamomille teas can also help with the cramping.
