A member asked:

How long does it take to catch full blown ada?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get tested: HIV infection can be treated and does not necessarily always turn in to AIDS if you get on proper medications. In some people it progresses rapidly in a year or two and in others it can take 10 years or more. If you are HIV positive please seek treatment. People with HIV can have a normal lifespan on appropriate medications.
