A member asked:

I got a bunch of canker sores in my mouth 10 years ago when i took an antibuotic. is it safe to take again?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Likely ok: There are many proposed causes for canker sores (stress, trauma, viral infection etc), and thus it is possible that the antibiotic had nothing to do with the canker sores. In case you had mouth sores along with systemic illness and certain types of skin rash with the antibiotic (Steven Johnsons), you must stay away from that antibiotic ever again.
