Injections during pregnancy: The risk of the medicines used joint injections to cause any injury during pregnancy are minimal. When we use corticosteroids for injections, these agents for the most part remain in the joint and surrounding structures. Even if absorbed systemically, this class of steroids are not metabolized by the fetus.
