Sometimes, throat: inflammation could cause referred ear pain. But this could be something serious, so you should see a doctor to make sure. You might need antibiotic treatment.

Wisdom Tooth: If the pain in your ear started with the deep restoration of the wisdom tooth, chances are they are related. This happens quite often. Have the wisdom tooth extracted and if your ear pain continues, see your physician.

Call: Call your Dentist and have him/her help you make that decision. Pain indicates spreading infection and antibiotics may be indicated before the surgery. If pain persists after the surgery, see your Physician as you may have concurrent unrelated problems.
